Lazy Dog Lodge is a beautiful, fully equipped lodge/cabin located in the sought after “Upper Canyon” in Ruidoso, New Mexico.  This location is ideal for walks, hiking, biking and a short drive to the ski area road.

The benefits of this mountain retreat include being nestled in the pines while only one mile from shops and dining. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon sitting on the front porch where the river can be seen and heard.  It is common to see wildlife walking around the property.

In the loft you can lose yourself in the moment, read, play a board game or just daydream.  If surfing the internet is a necessity, we have that too (wireless internet).

In the master suite, you have an expansive room to share space without feeling cramped. Enjoy watching television from bed or relaxing in the perfect reading chair. Both bathrooms offer curved shower rods for that extra elbowroom. The pillow-top queen bedded guest room has a large closet. The double twin bedded guest room has access to the outdoor courtyard.

Whether you are looking for abundance of activities or a true get-away from it all, this is the place to be. Ruidoso is still the true best keep secret.  There are snow sports in the winter, horseracing in the summer and numerous year-round outdoor activities.

The majestic views or the solitude that comes from getting back to a simpler time can be found in Ruidoso. However, if it is fine dining and the glitter of the casino you want, Ruidoso has that to offer as well.

The main living room offers a 32” flat panel television that can be seen from the kitchen and dining area. All new appliances in the kitchen make cooking in a breeze.

A variety of restaurants offering appetizing delights from home cooking to exquisitely grilled steak or fine French cuisine can all be found within a few miles. Shopping includes Native American art, hand crafted rustic furniture, unique clothing and jewelry.

Or just spend your day relaxing or reading your favorite book in the privacy of the secret garden courtyard.
